Hello- Would appreciate opinions on these two possible matches with my female. Also open to other suggestions I may have not thought of in US.
Wanting to keep 2 puppies for myself as future competition ipo and SAR. Would prefer a large very powerful male that is with good character, clear headed, great drives, good conformation, etc the total package. My female is very nice, strong dog with very high drives but yet very good character and even very predictable and calm with my young children. She's hips & elbows A stamped normal. IPO Kkl1

i love the first one with drago. the second one i would pass on. i have a pretty fair amount of tom in my kennel already & wouldn't do
a line breeding on that. jmho :) as with any breeding, you need to think of "down the road." if you are planning on keeping pups for
yourself, you need to keep in mind what bloodlines you would go to next. i like it when somebody plans a breeding based on what they
want to keep for themselves rather than breeding with sales in mind. kudos :)

Mailo apparently Tracks well, so worth investigating that idea
further, if you want to go the SAR route. Best of luck.

doubling up on tom reduces your chances of large offspring. imo, you're more likely to get more balance by going with drago. if you're still researching, you may want to give quardes vd staatsmacht a gander.

yes, quardes would also be a good choice :)

Thank you. Yes I still have plenty of time as she was just in heat in September. ..just wasn't a good time for me to keep or start a puppy for myself so didn't consider it.
I'm really leaning towards Drago but won't exclude anyone yet. I wasn't sure about a 3-3 on Tom what I might expect with that. Every dog I've ever owned with an exception to my show line Dobie (who's a bit of a mess!) Has been an outcross with no line breeding. I know Tom was a nice dog but he's in so many pedigrees. Many dogs I like currently competing are too closely related to Joy.
Who is the owner of Quardes? Pedigree is impressive, I'll need to look more into him.

Breeder From popular kennel told me this when I was asking him about breeding my female to Drago . "Puppies for Drago have a big problem with digestion dysplasia there a problem with thefront legs ."
hope this isn't true I would like to use him . Anyone ever heard anything like this
