What your goals?

Totally depends on the individual dogs, what they produce, and your goals. Pretty impossible for us to give any feedback without knowing who the dogs are and what you want out of the breeding.

for the colors, want to have more black. plus a family protection dog.  both parents come from champion lines of shutzhund sport.

I think if you breed these two males and get puppies you will  have something to brag about

Both pedigrees you posted are for males not a male and female

Wait--you come here with a post asking if it would 'be cool' to do a working/show cross, when asked what your goal is you say it's to 'have more black' and then post a link to an incomplete pedigree for a black & tan male and one to a well-known black working-line male, both of which may or may not be any relation to the two dogs you're proposing breeding--since you then state you only posted the links to show 'examples' of type and coloration--and YOU'RE going to lecture somebody on how they are permitted to respond to your inquiry?

NO, it would not 'be cool' for you to do a working/show cross 'to have more black', because you flat-out aren't anywhere near ready to be breeding dogs PERIOD. If you want to bred something for color, try cross-breeding flowers to create new variations. That way, nothing will suffer due to your playing around.

Even if you are posting these two dogs as example only -"simple because of their colors" I don't believe you will get a "nice" response.   This forum will not be kind to you.   The fact is that you shouldnt breed for color alone and it will be a crap shoot on the crap it might throw - color aside..   If you want opinions on what you might think you will get - post the real pedigrees - breeding is alot of factors - and color should be the least you are worrying about.  this question you has put forth is a sore spot with alot of people.   I think this forum will review the dogs you are talking about based on a number of factors and you might even get your color question answered.
