18 months ago I rescued a "blue" dwarf GSD from a great rescue in Montana. we hoped to live happily ever after..however, Tebow has a congenital deformity in his neck that is causing him increasing pain and personality problems. This happy little dog is now a mass of pain and even with meds, can't be touched. So sad. Tomorrow he will go to the Rainbow Bridge where he will be free from this life.
Those who enjoyed him with me..thanks for everything. I am so sad but thankful to have known him.
I just hope more breeders will test for this before proceeding..it IS preventable and all it takes is testing.. Please.. this is a terrible thing for a 2 1/2 year old dog to be put down..so sad.

This little boy had a loving home with people who cared for him - what else does a dog need?
It´s not about quantity, but quality.
And that´s what he got.
He´ll dream the dream of a happy dog, cause he had a good life thanks to you !

I will just tell you of a wonderful vet specialist who is zee top in brain and nerve issues. I took one dog to him and he said that he could not operate on the brain tumor as the main blood vessel wnt right through the tumor. He sent me to Dr Proulx of Carlsbad, CA. This specialist used radiation to totally remove the tumor. Unfortunately a third bet in putting in a hip replacement did a good job I guress, but the dog was totally paralyzed. Took her back to the nerve vet and the answer was not good and I had her put down.
I have a dog who was severely abused and beaten at less than 6 months. She has been taken to Dr Wayne Barry of Irvine, CA. He has found something that no one else found. There were things that I saw and took her to local vets and that was a mess. Dr Barry has her on some meds and total quiettime for 5 weeks. Then we shall see. I do not know the options at this time.
Dr Barry is at So. California Vet specialist Hospital in Irvine, CA. People come from the Far East and Middle East and out of State because of hisknowledge. The number is 949/ 833-9020

Really sorry to hear this news; believe me I know what you are going through; Dr. Proulx (Carlsbad oncologist) diagnosed my almost 15 year old girl with a sinus/nasal tumor a few months ago; 80% of those type tumors are malignant and I have since lost her but near her days before the rainbow bridge she started showing me she was in pain. It was unbearable to watch and really the veterinary field does not have a lot of successful pain med's for dogs; I was at that time thinking of a morphine patch, etc. Woke up and thought to myself, "What are you thinking"... Had to make that decision also, so painful; and the only saving grace was the fact that I KNEW she was not going to be in pain any longer. That made my decision a bit easier yet still painful and heart wrenching.
So I hope this is helpful to you and just know that you are making the right decision for Tebow and that you are not letting your animal suffer any longer. May he be running in his favorite place pain free and like a puppy again. Nan

So sorry to hear this. Bless little Tebow...at least he had the best of the best in his short little life. It's hard to remember that sometimes when we are swamped with sadness at their passing.
