I understand that Dan Yee's proposal to eliminated the WUSV qualifier did not make it to a vote at the WUSV meeting, good news

There will be a qualification trial.  I think I know how it all went down but at this point it does not matter what happen or what organization say that it got what it wanted.  What matters is, Dan Yee did not get the qualification trial eliminated.

I understand that it didn't make it to the floor.  As Wallace says, it does not matter the how's or why's, what matters is that Yee's wholly unsportsmanlike, whiney attempt to eliminate the Qualification/Selection trial failed.

So it should because it affects us over here in Belgium leave it as it is and all compete together and the best go through? there is too much fragmentation in sports today.

One must understand the bad blood between Wallace, Montel and the WDA before putting much credence into what Wallace is saying.
I suggest all is taken with a boulder of salt!

Steve1 you are correct, what the WUSV decides effects everyone. I'm hoping that qualifier trials (in the USA at least) will have impartial foreign judges and helpers.

I have bad blood with a lot of Mother*@%&#*'s this don't have anything to do with me and Montell. The fact is, there is going to be a qualification trial.  Don't take my word for it, call or write Dan Yee!  He will tell you! Or, wait and see for yourself!

All you know is that the Qualification trial wouldn't be eliminated. You don't  know what if any changes there might be in picking who represents the WDA and UScA or how the judging might be changed. All your squeals of glee may  be premature?

Does not matter to me how they work out the details.  All that matters is they will be having the qualification trial.  How they make the rules of the game is not important to me,  as long as we have the game (Which is the Qualification Trial)  I will play the cards that's dealt!  Nothing is premature about that!  See you Naysayers there next year!

by Dobermannman on 10 September 2013 - 23:09

A qualification trial where each side picks who they send and you have neutral judges is the only way it will work.
