This is SG Danno von Jer-Haus.  http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/dog.html?id=413776-danno-von-jerhaus
Danno is presently sitting in a southern California kill shelter, having been surrendered by his owner with all his paperwork, show medals, etc., dumped like so much garbage at age ten, to die alone in the hands of strangers.
Here are
Danno's pix in the shelter, and his medals and papers. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.505560956200772.1073741856.110101032413435&type=1
I can't seem to upload them to this page for some reason.

We are looking for the breeder of this dog, NANCY HOLCOMBE, hoping he/she will step up for him. Typically dogs surrendered in southern CA get about 4 days before they are PTS.
Please e-mail any info you might have that might help to me: wkgdogs@gmail.com

Time is of the essence here. I feel certain the breeder will want to move heaven and earth to save this nice old dog.

Let me tell this list something funny.  I posted something because I was worried about a little puppy dog.  You on this list were nasty about that post.

I posted something else and again this list had so much fun in being nasty to me.

And now the frosting on the cake. ~~  I lost a wonderful dog and have room for another second dog.  Would be looking for a boy.  Years ago I took in a male thrown on the streets.  Would have been dead in one more week.  Very abused, but he had so much fun with us and received all the care and love and fun in the next 8 years when we lost him.  My loss was 15 years old.

But because of the nastinesses from this list, I will not look at this boy or take him in.  I will not look at any pm posted here.  You do not know who I am.

And I have soooooo many vets who know how my dogs are cared for.  One vet is a World specialist.  Vet hospitals know my dogs.  Current is a girl no one wanted and she is so happy here and she misses our 15 year old.

Next time be careful how you treat people, it can cause untold suffering.  I was just worried that someone had bought a wonderful pup and was now dmping it.

Bye Bye!!!!

Pardon my French.......

He'll, I'll take him if someone can help me get him to Texas.    I'll make room.

So, Alamance,  you're going to let  this dog die to make a point? Way to go.....guess you showed us, didn't you? A$$hole.

Come on CA GSD owners, step up to the plate and get this dog out of that rescue. He's already 10, how much longer can he live?

by Blitzen on 06 September 2013 - 23:09

Wow, that dislike only took a few minutes! Stalking me?

Alamance, so you're just a vindictive creature, then, who COULD save this dog, but would rather let it die to 'get back' at the mean PDB members.

I presume you're referring to the Bomber puppy post you made?  The post that contained simply one word: "Why?"  You didn't say anything about "being worried about a little puppy". You said nothing about being "worried that someone had bought a wonderful pup and was now dumping it."  Had you expressed THAT concern, instead of just a cryptic, "Why?", you would have been advised that no, the pup wasn't being 'dumped', he is being sold by the breeder of the litter that pup is a member of, and the advertisement was PLACED here by the breeder. Of course, just reading the ad, it seems clear enough to me that he's being sold by the breeder, since it states, "this is the last pup left available from the XXXX/XXXX litter".  But the members here would have told you that anyway, and you could have always just asked the person who placed the ad.

It's a damn shame that you're so thin-skinned that you would let a lovely dog die needlessly when you apparently could easily step up and save him.  I'm in MI, way too far to get to CA in time to get this poor fellow out, or I'd pull him myself and rehome him. So if that's the way you roll, that you would play a revenge game over a freakin' Web forum that didn't kiss your hand when you posted a question that made no sense--and it's not as if you just signed up here, you've been a member here since 2008 and have nearly 400 posts to your credit, so you're well versed with the environment--then you're not a very decent human being.  So I'm not really sure what your game is, but it's not a very nice one right now.

Shelley, I was able to dig up what I believe is a current phone number & address for the breeder, and left a phone message @ the number explaining the reason for the call. Asked her to contact Coastal or to call me if she didn't know how to reach Coastal.
