Not a single dog on the mothers side has had hips or elbows done that I saw. That tells me all I need to know but add in only 1 dog on the mothers side has any working or show work to show then that adds even more to it and last but not least neither parent is titled so for me I stay awy

Sid Varma I would like to welcome you and your cute puppy.

Are you planning to show him or train him to an IPO title.  Does the country you live in allow you to train dogs for the protection work.

troopscott, you do realize, don't you, that the pedigree published here is not an official one, and that not all that appears to be missing is always actually lacking?

For example, you jump on the OP's pup by condemning the mother line because, "Not a single dog on the mother's side has hips or elbows done that I saw."  If you were more informed about the breed, you'd have recognized that at least ONE dog in the motherline has had it's hips done, even though it's not specified in this particular pedigree. You'd know that because you'd have recognized that the grandsire of the dam is a fairly well-known show line dog, and you'd also recognize that in order to have gotten a VA title--which is only awarded at Sieger shows--the dog had to have been breed surveyed, so he must have had a passing grade on his hips recorded prior to getting a Koer rating.

We don't know where the pup's litter was born, and we don't know how complete the information that was entered here is--perhaps there isn't any opportunity to obtain working titles in the country where the sire and dam reside.

Sid Varma, it's hard to tell much about your pup other than he's a cute little black & tan GSD puppy...the image is a bit out of focus, for one thing.  Please share additional pictures of him as he grows--most of us here love looking at puppy pictures, no matter what the paperwork the dog has behind him or her. Camera  Welcome aboard; it helps to have thick skin here, but you can learn a fair amount, too, if you put your mind to it.
