I saw this desperate plea on Facebook and decided to bring it to this site to see if theirs anyone in the York, Pennsylvania area who or knows anyone who is a member of S.A.R that can help search for this missing man. Please passing this along. Click on the link to get in contact with Jennifier using Facebook.

HELP!! I have a friend whose husband's sister's husband is missing. He's got a number of health problems, but police won't look until after he's been gone 24 hours. It's cold and raining, and he's not had meds or eaten since this morning, not good, as he's diabetic. Does anyone here have any contacts with anyone in the York, PA based Summit Search and Rescue (SSAR)??? If you do, can you get them to get a hold of me, if they're willing to help? I fear he may die if not found quickly.

There are Sar members within an hour of that location that are awesome people near Carlisle would prolly try contacting through the pd there as I could not find the contact info for them number I had is no longer in use. Could also try the group in Lehigh PA they are about two hours from York, and are called Valley Search and Rescue.

I used to live in York. I would contact the York City PD first; they must have contacts within the SAR community. And contact the York Kennel Club and local vets.

It is the cumberland county search and rescue. They are close by and would jump in https://www.facebook.com/pages/Cumberland-County-Search-Rescue-Team-400-CCSAR/148644726322

Just went to op link to message the sar info to this person and a box came up to donate a dollar in order to send the message? Is this a scam? I am not very familiar with this type of stuff dealing with FaceBook. Would hate if this is a legit need and cannot send them help at the same time to take my time to get them help and it end up scamming me.

Some VERY sad news coming from Jennifer Tomlinson on her Facebook page: "Sad news. The missing man was found deceased. Thank you all for your concern, support and efforts."

Now she is begging help for another cause already when I looked. Something feels very fishy. My contacts have gotten back with me from that area and no one can find any knowledge of this incident. Seems odd that is all the answer that was given and it was done so as soon as real help was obtained for the plea she posted.
