I think I'm becoming more of a sable addict than I was before. I'm currently conducting my research for my next German Shepherd dog (well puppy that is) and I'm just totally drawn into the sables. I know I would be given the index finger with a left and right motion from the working folks, but I'm just showing just how much of an addict I am for the sables.

Can't I have my cake, and eat it too?

A pair of sables soon to make an appearance. Brother and sister from NC. Look for them in the O G Carolina Show.

Blitzen,

Yes, they are Waiko puppies. He's doing well these days. We spent last weekend at a Steve House seminar in NC just to keep him in tune. He looks forward to his time on the field. His popularity as a stud continues. He has 2 litters down your way. I have been very pleased with his production. You will see some excellent breeders using him. Pups above are a good example. Smaller breeder with a good feel for dogs. I think he has a couple winners.

Waiko hs two sable National Champions under his belt. I'd like to see two more. If the two above can keep what they have for 6 weeks. I think they have a shot.

He's entered in the O G Carolina show that's the weekend of 3/29-31. Looks like a big show with over 100 dogs enterd. I think there were 5 VA males entered in the working class. It's going to be the event of the year. Today is the last day to enter.

We are heading to the Ft Myers trial in 2 weeks. It's a  lot closer for us than the NC show, won't make it this year. Taking taking some Quenn youngsters for their SG's and a  Paul daughter.  Maybe we will see some of these Waiko pups there?

Good luck in NC. Sounds like another great entry.  Are you still showing him at AKC shows?

We have the AKC program on hold after his two 4 pt. majors and a few attempts at some singles. The initial success was enough to get us headed down the road towards an AKC Championship. We know we have a Ford showing in a Chevy show, but in the end a dog is supposed to be a dog and we were disappointed with what we ran into at the small shows.
