Hello,

I have not used this food nor did I heard of it before.
I will allow my self only to comment what I read on their website.
Their food appears not to be anything special although they are trying to portrait it as something special on their webpages.

Looking at the Inukshuk Pro 32/32 – Extreme Energy formula ingredients and analysys I noticed that they have following ingredients (4th, 5th, 6th place on the list):  Whole Grain Wheat, Whole Grain Corn, Wheat Shorts.
I don't think that I would like to feed my dog food with these ingredients in it.

Wheat shorts are a byproduct of the manufactured flour from grains of wheat, consisting of fractions of cellulose envelopes and internal cells of the grain. In the milling process, wheat shorts come out after the bran and before the flour.
Corn should not be part of dogs diet as dogs (and us humans) can not digest whole grain corn.

These 3 ingreedients IMHO serve in this food to boost the protein and carbohidrates levels. Hence 32% total protein in this food is most likely 30-40% comming from plaint based protein.

Also they are not officially mentioning calcium and phosporus levels in their analysys...wonder why?

Conclusion: I would rate this tpe of food as somwhere "midle of the road", nothing special.

I read the website as well.  I don't feed my dogs corn or wheat. They say on their website that it is ok to feed cooked corn as a protein source. From what I have researched grain is not something that dogs can digest easily unless it is a vet prescription diet where the corn has been hydrolyzed , meaning broken down to an unrecognizable carbohydrate which is good for dogs with allergies. Alot of dogs are allergic to wheat products ( gluten ) in dog foods.

Hi Carlos,  I too am a complete convert to NO GRAIN dog food and feed Acana Ranchlands 2/3 and 1/3 Orijen 6 Fish formula.  My dogs have beautiful coats and I am not getting the ear infection problems I used to have while feeding RC.
