No. How many excellent working dogs have you seen out of "PSA lines?"
Scent work, search and detection, is more and more the essence of the police dog.
Schutzhund sucks more and more, and IPO is worse.

We need a new program, but we should look to the KNPV and the Belgian Ring
for better concepts.
Look to the people who are producing the kind of dogs we want,
the PSA people are mostly just demoing used KNPV dogs.

SV isn't going to do any of that
If they were truly concerned with working quality of the dogs and titles, then the judges would be tougher and perhaps the SV would bring back some of the things they did away with in schutzhund. thats all it would take.

If you don't want to do Schutzhund, go to another club.

If you don't want to do Schutzhund, go to another club."
Yes, and by the Pussification of Schutzhund the SV is
clearing the way for the Malinois to become the premire
police dog throughout the world.
This is the most important truth of the German Shepherd
world today, and everybody knows it even if they can not
admit it to themselves.
