Grayson

It can be a dog with very faded mask and saddle, since there is a shape seen on the dogs back and the dog has darker color on the muzzle, or it can be sable "red hairs tipped with black in a pattern along the back and head. Think of most Rough Collies or Shelties, as a lot of them have heavy sable. Sable can be extremely dark or almost invisible depending on how much of the hair is black."

Grayson is right.

GSD Lineage, I think some of the pictures you posted include sable colored GSDs.

I'd say they are faded black and tans, though before Linda Shaw took her illustrated standard down, the 'colour' section said it could be very difficult to distinguish between a faded b&t and a poorly pigmented sable.

I came across a site somewhere which said it's due to a recessive gene, ee. Wish I had the link still!

Looks like it's almost solid tan, many call it a "Golden Shepherd". The normal face and back markings are missing or too light to see. I'd just call it tan and call it a day. Though the back looks like it has a slight red saddle so maybe a tan and red.
I know it's not the rare liver color as it lacks the red nose that a liver would have.

CMills

I'd call her a red sable. Sables can range from very dark black sables to very light silver sables, but all are still considered sable.JMO

to me she kinda looks like a faded red sable a faded blk and tan wouldent have the harness markings

I would consider her a true RED sable.  She appears to have a lighter tan undercoat and the tips of the outter coat is red. Therefore I would say RED SABLE!  I have seen only one true red sable where I could actually have hands on experience where I could see the undercoat for myself.  This one appears to have the same features as the one I saw.
