Has this new site design significantly reduced the visitors?

I agree.

If I'm not mistaken this is a free site - it dosen't require you to pay for memebership.
I'm pretty sure the people running this site are trying to do the best they can, with the resources that they have.

If you don't like it. Nobody is forcing you to be here.
The only thing I see downsizing the members here is the fact that many regular commenters are unable/unwilling to keep a
civiliced discussion going.

I disliked the new board at first, but, now, I am used to it and find
it simple to navigate. Change is always hard for those who have
had things a certain way for a long time-some of have used this
board since back in late 2000, it's come a long way!  Not the best
to use on a mobile phone just yet, but you can still read threads
etc on your phone.

I suppose if you really are that upset about it, you could just go
ahead and start your own board Shades Smile

I like it. It was cleaned up alot and other than having some issues posting pics, I think its an improvement. Although Ill say the "Prefs" link for email is a bit odd for a name but as it was mentioned, it isn't my site so who am I change it.

I have a harder time using my I phone/I pod than the new layout; notice my terrific spelling sometimes (I really am pretty good spelling).
I actually like it this way, now that I'm used to it. Actually on the real computer, it's quite simple. I love this place for info, and the database itself is truly fantastic for pedigree info.
It's nice to see more breeds utilizing the pedigree section, it's just a shame new posters are "afraid" to post even on the all breed forum due to those few rude ass people that want to declare this a German Shepherd only forum.
(And yes, I have been told by dog people I know they could never post here due to some of the attacks they have seen)(I try to promote sch on puppy buyers and suggest this site for info).

Its a great site with a wealth of information. I dont think site design would cause people to stay away. Its a wonderful resource :)

Seems it is very slow to me.  I seem to be waiting and waiting for things to come up.  JMO>  Nan

I miss the feature where you could do a test mating and get a pedigree without pictures, I used to use it all the time to generate my pedigrees and then copy and paste it into a word document for printing.   I thought there was a way of printing a dogs pedigree without the pictures as well, but can't seem to find it now.  A printer friendly pedigree generator would be a great feature to have and would encourage more people to put their dogs pedigrees up.
