Have not had time to post as I've been SUPER busy. I got an unexpected call about a VERY pregnant GSD/GSD X
that needed to come into rescue or she would be having her puppies in the shelter.
I know I have promised a spot to a member here, and I will hold true to my promise, but I could not let this poor girl
whelp in the shelter. I hope this member will understand.... he knows who he is.
Anyways, we have named this girl Gretchen, going by her teeth she is approximately 18 months to 3 yrs old or so. There
is very little plaque around the gumline of her canine teeth, small amount on her molars, but teeth are still nice and white.
We have no idea how far along she is, and can only guess in the last few days of her pregnancy. I am taking temp multiple
times a day and it has been between 100.2 and 99.9, she is eating very good, puppies are bouncing around, stool has been
between very sofr and normal between yesterday and today, clear mucus discharge starting 2 days ago, restless, uncomfortable,
needy (but we don't know what is normal for her).
There is a chance that the litter may be all PB.
Anyways, here is Gretchen. We will be looking for an adoptive home for her once she has weaned her litter and has been
spayed. We'll also be looking for adoptive homes for her puppies as well. I am not a huge fan of pediatric spays, so unless
the adoptive family/person is well known either here or by me, they will all be s/n before they leave.

She does look like a Malinois, but her body structure is of a Am line and coat are of a GSD.

Honestly, I think she looks like a true red sable. If you google it you will see many pics of a red sable and they look exactly like this girl. JMO

Wow.....that is one preggers girl.
She looks very sweet and very miserable poor thing.

Her face looks very Mal to me, but regardless she is a very beautiful girl.

She looks like she's ready to pop at any moment! Good on you for taking her in, keep us updating when you can about how her delivery goes and how the puppies look. I'm sure they will be cute and end up in great homes no matter what.
