Hi, Judy,   I have enjoyed that hospitality and graciousness you described at a recent WDA Breed Survey.   You are absolutely correct. This is an area USCA needs to improve and WDA presents some very good examples that we could learn from.    Very best to you,   Kevin Nance

Hi Kevin

It was a pleasure to meet you and Cheryl and I hope we can meet up again sometime in the future.  It was a great event and everyone was welcomed equally. I wish this could be the case with all events regardless of what organization sponsors it.

Best to you and Cheryl in the coming year and thank you for supporting our event.

Judy

Some great reading back on pages 3 and 4 of this thread.
For those who haven't, I suggest reading it.

You are sorely mistaken, there is NO "great reading" anywhere in this thread.

Question --- If I am no longer a member of either UScA or WDA, but I still have my old WDA scorebook, can I trial in both UScA and WDA without rejoining either National club???
Also, no longer belong to a local club.

Thank you for the answer.

Alamance .. I believe you must be a member of somebody and have a valid score book .. you might get by with trialing but the national organizations would not record the scores and validate them without an active membership .. someone else chime in .. The SV judges scores are accepted by either organization (or at least the WDA for now) but the scores need a head shed OK I believe before official recognition??

I've tried reading (and understanding) what's being talked about for a couple days.  Every time I think I understand, there's new posts that make me question it.  Is there a place where I can get a synopsis of this issue?

IPO rules........."Issuance of the scorebook is done according to the instructions of the handler’s corresponding National Organization."

Alamance,

The National organization that issued your scorebook does not require membership to trial. It looks like USCA has to accept entries from anyone that has a WDA scorebook. Read Mr. Lux's letter and Mr. Heinke's letter and you will see where your question is answered.

Every other AWDF member club has to pay to have their score books stamped/certified ($40? fee ) by UScA in order to trial at a UScA trial.
According the the SV letter do GSDCA/WDA score books need to be stamped also or not?
$40 to join WDA vs X$ to join another breed club + $40 to have their AWDF score  book stamped?????
Personnaly I'd like to see UScA leave the WUSV/SV to the American and German Show GSD people and join RSV2000.
Poll the UScA membership and go to one member one vote
