You have to love it, there is an ad for a black female GSD, asking price $1200. There is also a link to the website for this breeder wher the puppy is 500. The sire is not OFA'd nor are any of the dogs in his pedigree titled. It makes me sick that people try to scam folks.

I wouldn't buy a dog from any of the classifieds posted on this site. I'm sure there are some good dogs, but it just seems like everyone is in it for the money and won't give an honest read of what the dog is or is capable of.

I don't know as much about the GSD's, but I feel the same way you do Adkins about the Doberman classifieds, especially the ones listed from breeders in US.

Why is it that elbows don't seem to be an issue with ALOT of ads here? Maybe I'm more sensative to this because I almost just bought a dog with bad elbows. Thank God I was saved from a forum member (whew)
There is an ad on here where the dogs work (LE dogs I think.... the male) but their pups are $3500.00. I think that is just as bad. Really who has this kind of money to spend on an average dog?

Then again I just saw a puppy for $4000.00. I am definitely in the wrong business!
