What is her main food?
How old is she?

Wow. Nutrition is severly lacking if chicken soup and bread is her main diet. Get some raw red meat in her. Cook some vegetables for her, but she needs real protein....meat, and some raw beef bones.

Perhaps the original poster is referring to the kibble called Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover's Soul?
Here's a link to a review of the dog food.

That dog food is not any good for maintaining health. If pigment is fading, that is a pretty good indication that the general health of the dog is also fading.

Does your female have pedigrees? There are several dogs known to transmit lighter colors to there progeny, and fading out in females is not uncommon at all. Was she born in Germany and came to a hot, dry country? A lot of German Shepherds do have coat problems in this climate.
As long as she is healthy there is not much you can do. You may try Biotin B150, Omega3, raw RED beef, and good food.
But after all, if the saddle fades out, it´s genetic.

What is in the chicken soup?

She is reaching her maturity, so age certainly plays a part in fading out.  I concur that this is probably just a genetic thing, it is not uncommon in the WGSL for some dogs to fade in color, particularly females.

Depending upon the ingredients in her chicken soup, she may very well need additional protein.  Either way, raw meaty bones should be added to the diet, they are very beneficial to dogs.   Adding OLEWO or other supplements have been noted to make red pigment darker/richer.

I hope that it is the kibble, but I can't see why you would add bread to a kibble, but can see you would add bread to a normal chicken soup. I truly hope the OP comes back and clarifies and gets some advice on a change of diet if the dog really is only getting chicken soup and bread.
