You have to wonder what is wrong in our society today, I refuse to blame the gun for what a human does with it.
This is still going on and I guess we'll know more later.

Beetree lives in CT.
I hope to hell she is not near that area.
I hope we hear from her soon.

OMG Ninja! ... My kids are in some kind of precautionary lockdown but it is NOT my town or school. It is very possible to eventually know someone affected by who is dead. It is sickening to me thinking of all the dead children, and the nine adults dead.

Glad to hear you and yours' are fine Bee.
Terrible tragedy!
No need for this kind of crap.

They just changed the total to 20 children dead, 6 adults, plus the shooter.
18 children died at the school, two at the hospital.

My son just told me a friend's cousin is one of the gone children; a sweet, innocent, seven year old boy. No one can understand this.

Bee, Glad your kids were not at that school..
My condolenses go to the family and friends of the ones that died! This is just a sad sad story and seems to be happening way to much.
I agree Too Moons, Guns dont kill people, people kill people. The gun belonged to the shooter mother, who he also killed.

What I got from the news was that this young man had a history of mental illness, not that it matters to those who have lost loved ones.
I can think of no greater pain than losing a child.
There is nothing anyone can say that will make anything easier to except or understand.
Senseless is all that comes to mind.
