I was reading an ad that was advertising a, "Sable semi bi-color" GSD puppy. I have never heard or seen a GSD describes as this. This puppy is listed as a czech import. Just wondering if anyone has any idea what this color descritpion is.

At a pure guess I'd say they mean it's a 'blanket patterned'
dark sable; but who knows ? May be that is 'semi' as in
1/2 GSD, 1/2 something else ?

Maybe the person wanted to emphasize a pattern that looks like a bi-color but is actual a sable? Similar to this maybe? Left pup is Avanna vom Goldwald, clearly sable, but has a lot of markings that could resemble a black and tan.
