I dont know how you would go about finding the progeny themselves, Have you spoken with the breeder about this? They would be your best source.

Well, for one thing, the picture on Shadow v Shwarzenegger's page is NOT him--that is a picture of this dog: Marin zur Krombach

I'm sorry to hear your dog is afflicted with this problem at such a very young age...

I wouldn't hold out much hope that the breeder is going to be of any help, but it would be worth trying, at least.  Otherwise, if you're local to where the pups were born, there's a good chance that the rest of the pups were sold locally as well.  You could try putting up flyers at grocery and pet supply stores, and even at vet's offices, briefly explaining that you're looking for siblings of your dog and why, providing info on how to contact you, and hope the owners of those pups see the notices and get in touch.

I contacted Max's breeder and explained this situation to him and he replied..    Hello Ms. Ferguson, We are so sorry to hear about Max and the stress that you are going through with him. I just returned from out of town, and immediately contacted other owners from the litter that Max was in, and none of the owners have any problems with their dogs. This is the very 1st case that we have ever heard of about any of our litters.   I also contacted the 24 hour vet and they stated that this defect may be quite obvious at birth, many may remain hidden for months, years, or even until they die. Congenital defects can occur for no known reason, can be inherited, can be caused by environmental factors, or can be a combination of any of these. I recommended the other owners to have their shepherds checked out for any congenital defects has well. None of our shepherds have any known defects, nor does the Sire of this breed.   If you have any other questions or concerns please contact me    which I thought was a geniune reply. However, on looking through forums about this condition and how other people and breeders have dealt with it, I came across the exact same wording from a reply on a forum.. obviously this breeder had cloned his reply from elsewhere.....
i don't live near i'm 3 hours away...i have found max's real dad  anyway thx for the responce Regular Smile
