Can someone post a link for the best place to get gear for training?  I am looking for the rubber balls on a string I see in most training videos, preferably the larger ones. I am new to Schutzhund training and any help would be appreciated.

I would just get online and look around, everyone has them.

I've been told to look at Hallmark K9.  I haven't gotten that far yet, but I did try to get one from Ray Allen K9. It is a large, hard rubber material with dents in it though, and is hard for my dog to grip - espescially the way she slobbers sometimes.

A few people I know make their own as well.

I have made my own also and they work I have got things from a place called k9 power.  Sometimes they are cheaper, maybe you should try a smaller size until she gets use to the ball.

Th e T handle balls  from Elite K9 are really nice. Leather and String can really  cut into your hands. You can also order the T handles seperate to use with other balls or Kongs

You can also make your own T-Handles if you'd like...Out of PVC or even a small wood dowel...or I just tie a knot or two in the end of the line and it works pretty good....You can try different things and see how they work for you...and/or your dog(s)...

hallmark k9 is an excellent company...Jim Hill has everything and if he doesn't have it he can get it.....
