Sometimes in the dog world you have to do your due diligence, not as much anymore , but it still pays to research and confirm.

a guy that has been around since peds were either hand written or typed with a type-writer and stored in paper tells of the grand days of breeding, liquid paper and re-typing over peds, numerous pet dogs stolen from back-yards and give great peds trained briefly and sold on, stud, dams and whole litters faked into peds.....sounds like a great old time and makes these ped nerds today seem naieve in thinking that what they study is actually accurate.

Us old timers like the 1994 Tom as he was well known for producing clear headed dogs with plenty of useful, manageable aggression. Both Tom's have produced nice dogs though.....

@vk4gsd.....lol...some of us just continue to be lucky to get some decent dogs based on genetics. I figure with pedigrees purportedly inaccurate as the old timer says....it can only be luck if a ped nerd constantly comes up with good dogs!
