Does the SV actually check for proof of parantage, or is it like the AKC, where they have it and don't use it unless there's a dispute?

I'm not sure, SitasMom, but my understanding is that the DNA Gepr. certification means that both parents and the dog have been DNA'ed and the parentage has been verified. I'd be interested in input on this from the other side of the pond.
