I'm looking to do a breeding with a stud through AI. What is everyones preference, chilled or frozen?

fresh is best but if thats not possible chilled.would be second best. Alot.of sperm doesnt freeze well and isnt viable after

I do frozen and have had good success.

fresh lives 3 or 4 days

chilled lives 1 to 2 days

frozen lives 3 to 4 hours

fresh be done with normal AI

chilled is best with thru the cervix AI

frozen is best with surgical insemination.

All require progesterone timing......

Thanks everyone for the advice and links. Found a really good vet near by that specializes in this procedure. Now just have to get the timing down right.
