Dog CC Korzwin Randy
Res Balko v Gleisenauer Schloss
Bitch CC Ch Daira v Elzmundungsraum
Res Ch Danashe Abby

I think that the best puppy dog was Kleeheugell Bonno and best puppy bitch was Kassieger Renata ( I think ). Weather was good, good venue, very good entry of around 150, I thought the judging was good with the Male judge, Mel Groth, giving excellent verbal critiques, funniest thing Linda Barclay highjacking the kids bike and riding around the venue in the challenge and well done West Yorks. I am sure that St Helens will carry on.

I agree with you, Steve.  I thoroughly enjoyed the whole day.  Both judges clearly did their "own thing" and the verbal critiques were excellent (even though "we" didn't win anything).  I really enjoyed listening to M Groth (dogs) giving hers... she was so clear and thorough, from top to toe!

Congratulations to all winners... every one looked worth their place!

It was a really good show, Liz!  A great day out and I don't believe there were ANY sour grapes!  What a refreshing change... everyone could see that the judges were doing their own thing and everyone accepted it gracefully.  Well done West Yorks!

Congratulations to all the winners, and all the exhibitors, who contribute so much to keeping our Show scene alive, even at the current level. I was somewhat disappointed with some placings, however I have learnt over the years, that in a sport with relatively equal shares of competence, incompetence, corruption and honesty, and with very little anyone can do about it, and very little any organisation will do about it, the only thing many exhibitors can expect is the unexpected, and of course the continuing demise of our GSD Show Scene. Having said that, I like to be positive, and I look forward to seeing many of you at the apparent glut of Shows we have over the coming weeks, if Rhoda allows me to join her.

David she is having far to much fun to let you join her. Look forward to seeing you soon.

Just returned home this afternoon from W.Yorks show , Thanks to organisers and judges for allowing me access to the rings to photograph at the show and to all the handlers/owners who took  the time to stand up dogs for me  . I have fotos of 80% of animals entered  in stance , taken during critiques so will hopefully have images for most of the exhibitors in due course. Fotos will be on website  http://www.fardogartfoto.com   towards end of the week. If anyone wishes fotos for their websites please email numbers and I will email images on.
Thanks

Fabulous show - West Yorks was almost like stepping back a while, to when Ch show entries were really good, with high quality animals in numbers attending and taking their places.
A little plug for my little Dessie....   Mascani Odessa.   She`s 2 yrs and 3 months only, and having gained a CC at 17 months, it has moved her to only be able to compete in Limit Class.   I was so wanting to see her among such brilliant competition that against my earlier decision - due to her coat not being in full bloom...., I put her in to the class
4th.    flippin 4th and graded excellent.    What a lovely feeling for me.  You dont need a first every time, you just need to know that you have been in brilliant competiton and been up there ......
Well done to all who exhibited, it was a great show, and gave me a chance to see lots of excellent animals together... dare I say getting like the old days !!!

Mo - Mascani.
