I think this is the best photo I've ever seen. Thanks for sharing your joy with us. Do you remember the U-Tubes that were floating around a year or so ago - one showed a little dog going crazy with delight when its "daddy" came home from war? The other was a little girl squealing and crying when she saw her daddy returning.
Please don't anyone take this for anything but my heartfelt wish, no politics please - it's enough, let's bring our service men and women home alive, well and whole.

I wish I videoed it, Blitzen. He knelt down and she THREW her paws around his neck and washed his whole face. She was beside herself!

Now that would have been a real tear jerker; it would have brought us to our knees. Isn't it amazing how these incredible animals we call dogs never forget their people no matter how long they have been separted? We are so lucky.

Thank you for those heartwarming pics--no Kleenex but I do have my faithful toliet paper handy for these times. Oh I can just imagine the scene and how happy they both were. A Happy Veterens Day to you and your family.
Thank you for the nice wishes. My deceased soul mate was a Vietnam Vet--Marines and my daughter--Army--did 3 tours in the Middle East. Thank you Kesha and thank our Creator you came home in one piece..................
To everyone else, Happy Veterens Day and please remember what this day was set up for and not just BBQing and partying and an extra day off....................
