i cannot say enough good about the dam line....gina staatsmacht & orla schiffslache.  any bitch out of stefan's breeding is a worthy female in my book.
i am not a fan of zender lusondai especially and a few years ago i was quite critical of him and his production........however, as with any stud dog, he
does have some progeny of merit and after some time, i am seeing more females than males that i like coming from him.
i have a female, 11yrs old today, out of carlo hilsblick--littermate to casch hilsblick.  i can attest to the working ability of that breeding.  some of the
toughest dogs you'll ever find, but equally as bullheaded.  Wink Smile well worth the effort if you are up to the task.
looks to me like a breeding suitable for sport or service, but since i am more interested in true working ability i see a dam line and a sire line with toughness
and real working ability.

pjp, Thank you very much for these comments from your experience of knowing the Lineage, much appreciated.  Very good to hear a good report.  If you are still around (reading this), what would your opinion be of such a puppy's suitability to a family, purely as a family dog, who would not be considering as a 'working dog'?

Vixen

in every litter there are dogs with more or less prey drive, more or less aggression and differing degrees of trainability.  (among other things)
an active pet home would be suitable for most workingline dogs provided that the level of activity is enough to keep the dog happy and out
of mischief.  :)  i don't think a dog really cares if he's retrieving a dumbell over a hurdle or if he's chasing a frisbee in the park with the kids.
keep them fit and healthy and keep a crate around for necessary quiet times.  i'm a big fan of knuckle bones for quiet time and tug of war
for all dogs & pups, even if they aren't being used for protection or sports.
best of luck.  pjp

Thank you Ziegenfarm,  for your views.  I was concerned by your initial remarks and comments that such a puppy could be overwhelming for a general family with no desire for a working sport.

Kind Regards,
Vixen
