I have looked all over and have not found the perfect stud.  I want the Male to be OFA'd and either have titles or is on the way to earning them.  It seems like more and more breeders tend to not even title the dogs they offer up for stud.  I am not a breeder that just puts two dogs together.  For me to breed the dogs they must have something to offer and better the Shepherd breed.  I am not looking for over-sized as my male is too tall to tie with her.  Anyone have any suggestions?
Is there a way to help my male and her tie. I have used the hill steps everything.... he seems to be flush with the wrong hole.

Yacco von der Vallendarer Hohe is in Ohio, owned by Mike Florea. Yacco is V rated, KKL1, SchH1, and placed very well in the BSZS when shown as a young dog.  He is a show line dog who can do the work, then go home and snuggle with the kids. He is a son of Hannibal Steiglerhof and Hexe Steffen Haus. I had a litter from Yacco and they were excellent pups, great bone, not extreme in angulations, good drives, and VERY strong nerves and stable temperments. Mike is an incredibly nice man and took remarkable care of my female. His website is www.vondersymmes.com.

Post your bitch's pedigree so folks might have a better idea which of the hundreds of beautiful boys might be the best match for her.

The breeder I got my bitch from has some nice German showline dogs. He doesn't have a website, so you'd have to e-mail him to find out the info on what dogs are currently in his kennel: BreederEdge@aol.com .  He's close to Cincinnati.

Some of his dogs are on the website here. Do a search for "von Bayou Land" to see them.

so what does your bitch have to offer to better the breed?  Is she titled?  OFA?  bloodlines?

AKC showlines - PARENTS OFA'd ???  is this the female you want to breed?  Extreme angulation, flat feet, basset length body?  poor pigment?  what is this dog going to do to "better the breed"???  Or if you are breeding HER mother, she sure did not "better the breed"

No that's not the female... I am breeding a three year old German Import.  That girl is 1 and a half and I would not even dream of breeding without getting the female OFA'd let alone that early. Obviously if I am selling her than I am not planning on breeding her. The female I am wanting to breed is OFA'd hips and elbows (Good and Normal).  The female in the classifieds was bought for show and as you pointed out she would not be good to be shown for conformation.  Sorry I didn't know I had to describe each and every one of my females without people jumping to conclusions.  I have been breeding German Shepherds and Showing them for the past 13 years.

so you are looking for a titled stud dog so you can breed to improve the breed, but you don't title the female?  Does the female not have anything to do with the litter and improving the breed?  Breeding a pet female to a great stud dog improves the breed?  IMO it starts with the female.  Get her titled, show her - prove her first, then find the best male to compliment her.  That's the way to improve the breed in your litters.  Otherwise you are just another pet breeder looking for an impressive stud dog to make your litter look more interesting for advertising.

The female I am LOOKING to breed is being shown and has CH points in the UKC ring. The person in the earlier posting is talking about a female I am selling.  I am not INTERESTED in breeding the girl I have for sale. They are two totally different dogs.  I am looking to breed my female who is:
1. Going for her title
2. IS 3 not 1 and a Half
3. Is German
4. Is OFA'd

Yes the female I am looking to breed will better the breed. I have five females all of which are different.  The one in the above postings is one I bought for show...and obviously didn't turn out the way I expected.  I do not want to breed her.
