So, today I took Auggie to town to walk around the down town area.  We will always have the do not pet harness on him when we go there because I don't care for anyone approaching out of the blue on the sidewalk and trying to force pet on my dog, especially when I want him to be focused on the walk/obedience when we're out in that part of town..... But all I can say is woah...... People see that on him and it's like he "demands" space from his presence alone.   The children we pass by (anywhere for that matter) think Auggie is a big teddy bear, but the ones today with their parents seeing the harness they made the  children wait until we walked past them until they got onto the sidewalk (they had just gotten out of their car).   Auggie did very well, seemed to enjoy wearing it too, it was almost like he thought he had a "purpose" when he had that on with the way he walked.  In general everyone would just say hi as we walked pass other people who were walking or going to stores, or you had some who would stop and let us pass by.  I did see one person who I think was absolutely terrified of Auggie judging by the look on their face, and Auggie looked at that person with suspicion so who knows.  Just glad to see he likes wearing it.

Well, that reinforces my idea of wanting to get one for my dog. Im sooo tired of people thinking it's ok to just alk up and pet my dog. Sooo irritating. Now, I think I'll go size up my girl and get one too.
