Some of you may know that yesterday, I tied the knot with my best friend and the reception was at our
house. I introduced one of my very best friends to Sarge and Vicki fell in love with him :) She is a K9
handler of 16 years, but has been without a dog for the past year. Needless to say, they hit it off. I didn't
see my friend most of the time she was here LOL. SO Sarge went home with her last night, and I have
evidence that Sarge went to bed last night in her bed LOL. Vicki LOVES Sarge and he loves her too!
My photographer took a bunch of photos of the two of them, so I will soon be adding some of those to
this update :) I just wanted to let Sarge's rescuers know, that even though he's not going to make it as a
patrol dog, he is with someone who has massive amounts of experience and lives about 20 minutes from
me, so I can check up on him whenever I want. Also, with Sarge being so close, Vicki knows that if there
is ever a problem and she cannot keep Sarge, he is ALWAYS welcome back here.
Thank you PDB rescue squad. You have helped change the life of this wonderful dog!!

That is such wonderful news about Sarge! Sounds like he has found *his* person and his person has found him. Thank you so much for stepping up to foster Sarge. I would say you changed his life, but in fact, you GAVE him life! Thanks for the update- it is good he is with someone with experience, and close by :) Thank you so very much for giving him a place to go to, which enabled all of us to work together and save a life.

What a nice ending to Sarge's story. Thanks to all you guys who helped him out. And Melissa thank you for the update and the great pic. He's got it going on now!!!!!

I got an update today on Mr. Sarge.... he is completely fine with cats. Shows no interests at all and is living peacefully with them. Also, he has
been turned into Mr. Spoiled rotten, sleeping in bed and such. Vicki is VERY grateful to you all for saving this boy. Both she and I thank you!
