Do not email me again and do not threaten me. If you have anything to say to me, make it so right here so people can see how you are. I don't need to hide behind PMs or emails to say what I think and what I believe.  What you have said to me before I saved in the PMs and the emails you just sent me. I am a member of this board and I have been a long time and I will say what I want and when I want to say it. When I dislike what someone is doing regarding the GSD breed I will say what I want. There are those of us out here who truly care about the dogs and where they go and not just the dollar bill. I never said I would ever foster one of your dogs--I was talking about the lady you sold that puppy to. And I wasn't talking to you. And no I am not going to call you and get into a big pissing match with you. This is all I'm saying and I suggest we drop it here and agree that we dislike each other intently.

Someone once said that those who shout loudest usually have the most to hide.  Can't remember who said it, but invariably I have found it to be true.

Just an observation.

Oehlmansdorf, does your mom know you're on the computer again?

No one was even talking to you, and barely about you. Not that selling a dog to a "breeder" like that makes you look too good, but beyond that, other than your unhappy buyers and potential buyers, the comments were directed at Lindsay.

Ok so this is off topic from the post to this Terry person, and other than he doesnt work his own dogs and has imo, a sad health guarantee ( you either guarantee hips or you dont, it should not matter if the person pays for limited reg or not...don't get that one) and has bought all his breeding dogs (didnt see any from his own breedings)..............what exactly is wrong with ddr dogs? I personally think that for the most part how can dogs be ddr when that part of the country no longer exists nor the dogs that were bred. I would

Are ddr dogs the new pet dog from across the ocean? What gives?

Bhaugh, this is my take on it. When the wall came down, people rushed to import them because supposedly they had very little hip or any other health problems AND this is a fact that the dogs that did not work were culled. Now there are a lot of honest to goodness people that have tried to preserve those lines because of their history and on and on. BUT there are others that got on the bandwagon because they were something "different" and they could sell them for more money and especially to the innocent unknowledgeable pet people. So what you said about the new pet dogs is exactly right. Back to what I have always said that it is all about the money. There is only one place I would buy a DDR lined dog from and it is in Germany. I truly believe they are interested in preserving heritage and type. Back when the walls first came down, I know a couple of people who went and brought one of the first pure DDR dogs to the states. I am not going to mention their names or the dogs name. They bred it to a nice working line ScH tittled bitch and I was fortunate enough to get one of them from someone else after he was grown. He was of excellent type, big boned, stocky, blocky head--I just loved Max. But the women who had the sire bred him to anything that walked and had AKC GSD papers. I look back now and think what a shame that was. But IMO it was because he was a special import being as how he came from behind the walls. So naturally puppies sold easy. I've seen, in the past, a lot of his puppies and I've seen him in a lot of pedigrees and was sort of surprised. So that's my 2 cents.
