searching for Romeno bloodlines - Page 1

I am searching for a GSD bitch puppy with a specific bloodline in her ancestry. I have just said goodbye  to my 16 year old Romeno Katriona. and I am heartbroken.
I also lost my 17 year old mongrel just 4 weeks before. After 30 years of having dogs in my life my home and my life are now so very empty.
 
 I really do want another Romeno  but I believe that the Romeno affix died when it's owner died a few years ago. There must be descendants of Romeno bred dogs but HOW do I locate them in the UK.
The Kennel Club admit they have the information but are not able to tell me for data protection reasons.
I am willing to travel to any part of the UK  

Please can somebody help me to find a puppy with Romeno somewhere in her pedigree

Romeno affix is not 'dead';  when Guy died, his friend took over and as far as I know she is still breeding 
and still keeps that kennel name.  Have you googled the kennel?

I'll go and look up her name & address and come back and PM you, in case you have no luck finding details.

I've known some nice dogs with a bit of Romeno ancestry in their pedigrees. Very best wishes.

Shadowsquad kennels in Berkshire have dogs with Romeno in their pedigree and are stll breeding.  I got my wonderful Lily from them in 1992, she ws a dog of lifetime, amazing, & she lived to be 13 as did her sire, she went back to Guy's dog Rhinestone of Brittas.  They can be found with a web search.

16 is a great age for a GSD, not achieved much these days.  My Willow died this week aged just 6, from different lines though - I should have stuck to Romeno!!!

Lily - I've given Katriona a phone number for Shadowsquad;  she hasn't come back yet so I don't
know how she got on following up on info.  I'm having trouble finding the details for the lady who
took over Romeno, wasn't where I thought it was - anyone who knows this please join in !
