Its a gorgeous Sunday and I hadn't gotten any pictures of my male in over a year so figured I'd play around with the camera.

I think we can all agree that I am no photographer! But a good time was had by all.

Getting ready to make an attempt at titling him this fall so this was just a bit of a chance to blow off some steam and have some fun!

My pathetic attempt at a stack + Hubby's photography. Honestly I'm surprised the dog even looks like a dog! I wish I could give him a better stack to get a critique on him, I have often considered trying to get a show rating as well as his titles on him.

Now we got to the fun stuff!

No pictures EVER do a good looking GSD justice, but how beautiful he is, comes across clearly, rest assured! Love them good looking dark sables!

You should definitely get a show rating on him, he is a beautiful sable male, very masculine with a great head, though not in a stack , depending on how he moves I think you could get an SG rating on him. Though short in the front, he looks like his rear angulation is good and his temperment looks great in the shot with the little boy. As they say "Just Do It"!

Keep trying, set him up on leash then tell him to stay; I mean afterall that is what he has to do in the ring; then go take the picture. His conformation is very pretty and eye catching, good luck with him. Pretty head shot. Love that dedicated expression.

Thank you both for the supportive comments!! I would be over the moon if he went SG and I really do want to try conformation with him.

I know that we will definitely be at the back of the line in a ring with dedicated showline dogs but I still think it would be fun.

He's a hunk in conformation and color.......................Thanks for sharing. PS I know all about the pics but I think you did good with the action ones. Him and his "play buddy" is priceless.................

4th one down is the BEST! (for me at least) :)
I love the definition of his muscular body, those shoulders are huge, if there was a magazine like bodybuilding for dogs he definitely would be in top 10...LOL.

I've been working on getting him into condition for the up coming trial. Living with him day to day of course I never seemed to notice any changes until I got some of these action shots of him!!
