What do you think? Both have been sent to OFA. I will post results when I get them.
The 1st set is Haska, 3 year old female GSD
The 2nd set is Rocco, 2 year old male GSD

The top x-ray the 3 yr old bitch looks slightly loose but I think they will come back good although a possibility of fair due to right hip having a little bit of remodeling.
The male's x-ray looks good given particularly the right hip is rotated inward way too much. I still think good and good luck. Nan
Neither of these x-rays are what I would call a good position; top x-ray knees need to be rotated inward more; bottom needs to be rotated out more.??
Were these done without anthesia?

looks like the person shooting the picture had both legs in one hand, which makes the position bad and harder to get a good read on. I think that the first one has OFA fair, just because the left looks a little looks good in my opinion. let us know!

They both look good to me.
When enlarged I see no remodeling of the top xray, though positioning is not the best.
Lower xray look fine also.

The right hip on the female I think will fail. Even with better positioning the socket is not uniform which might get her a good. If you notice the ball upper right and left of the ball is out of the socket.
Good on the male.
On a side note -- The female how bad did she have to go potty after the xray? She had a full bowel.

the female will go fair to good, i would of liked to seen better position on her xrays, but still look ok.
the male position is better and he will go good. his hips are better.
i am sure both are going to pass.

Thank you all. I too think they will go good. Not perfect positioning but they were not sedated and we got this good of positioning on the first (and only) try with both dogs. My vet lets me assist and I am the final say as to when I am happy with an x-ray or not. He is always so kind to take as many as I want till we get it right. I think good hips will tolerate not so perfect positioning. Bad hips no matter what you do or how perfect the positioning- they are still bad hips!
Here is a pic of the females OFA prelim of "good" as well as this years X-ray enlarged. And yep, she was full that day!!
I will be sure to post results from OFA because you never know, sometimes I think it depends on what side of the bed they woke up on or whether or not they have had their morning coffee as to how they rate a dog so I always hold my breath till I get the results :) Thanks for keeping me company while I wait!
