I have had correspondence with Tammy and referred a Mississippi Shelter worker to her and they were evaluating one or more dogs-but dog(s) were adopted locally.  The other two I have no personal experience with, but the information might be of use to save one more shelter/homeless dog.

That is fantastic. I saw a quite few WL dogs on petfinder the other day. I imagine the organizations you mentioned above stay updated on what dogs are available for adoption. 

If they have the time to surf the internet . . . . make the contact to do evals . . . .etc.

If the Ky group is the group I see on Petfinder, their dogs are VERY pricy. Too much imo for rescue dogs AND posting them on Petfinder

Steph, Were are most these WL dogs coming from? Owner surrender? Animal control? Strays? If surrendered, for what reasons are they typically being surrendered?

Id like to know who the breeder is from MT so I make sure I dont contact her or refer anyone to her. You can PM me if you like

Nope, won't pm, have complained about her on here before. Sapphire Kennels in St. Ignatius...Ramona....remember??? The one was the blind gals dog...that pulled her into the street to go after another dog. Had several other dogs that were from her kennels too, she wouldn't take them back, hung up on me...

Then I don't know if you would call Omega Shepherds near Helena working line, but I get a bunch with defaults, like double ears on one ear, thyroid, and pannus, that has been discussed on here before too...there was a gal in Whitehall, but I think she finally quit...have to look up her kennel name.

Then there is a new one in Nine Mile area, near Missoula. Germain Haus, really bad skitso dogs, very fearful and major fear biters...Several in Spokane area, just got one in yesterday, had litter registration papers, had one from them a few months ago too, but they are bad yard breeders...there are also some backyard breeders in  Billings area.

@Steph, That's what I thought. What is wrong with these breeders?!?! First they sell the pups to homes they shouldn't be going to and then they don't take them back when things don't work out (which should be no surprise)??? For those breeders it's only about the money. So sad for the poor dogs :-(  

You have so graciously taken on the burden of so many dogs because humans are greedy, careless, irresponsible and simply don't give a s**t! You are such an amazing person. Thank you again Steph for all that you do.
