Someone has put up pedigrees of some of my past AKC dogs and a bit of false advertising. Have no idea who it is, but I'm sure they will not be too happy with my comments. If there was anything to boast about, I would have put them up myself.

link does not seem to be working, will try to fix, anyone have any idea why.

Rik, if you contact admin, they will know who entered the dogs in the database. I was surprised to see my dog here too, didn't do it myself;  her info was correct.

Rik, Oli must be doing some work on the board right now, as I was able to hotlink one of the dogs before the text editor stopped working. But what you need to do is click on the chain icon in the second bar of options in the text editor, then enter the URL in the box that pops up.

Until Oli started making changes to the board, cutting and pasting worked to make an active link. But recently, we seem to be back to the old system where you have to click on the chain icon, which is in the same box as the flag icon and 3 icons to the left of the picture (sun and mountain) icon.

What do the initials after Lyrik's Intrepid's name mean? I'm not familiar with them.

SS, I did use the chain link button, but it apparently is not working.

thanks for correcting the one at least.

Clicking on the History of Changes reveals the dogs were added by Blackhawk Farms:

Sunny, I did see that. Just have no idea who it is. Thought about contacting admin about deleting the false embellishments. Decided to leave them up with comments. May keep some novice from stepping in a genetic pile of poop.

Will not be surprised to see them deleted soon.Teeth Smile

Thanks Blitzen, I do know of the guy. Have never met him. An AKC professional handler I think.

Maybe, since he is a member of this site and apparently makes a living in the show ring, he will take the time to explain how such mistakes are made in the accomplishments of dogs he has no first hand knowledege of.

just curious,

going a little off-topic here.

Rik, Trieste was a very pretty female, I like her looks very much.

Since the person who put the information in falsified some of the titles and sires, maybe it's possible that they falsified that Intrepid was bred, had progeny?   perhaps she never really did....

One of the incorrect sires, Playboy Chlomaxsi looks way over done, to the point of almost being gross, I know part of it is he is too overstretched.

When I see photos of AMbreds like Trieste, it makes me want to get an ASL....goodness, if I ever get an ASL I'm going to have to change my username Omg Smile

You'll WANT to change your user name on this board, because if people find you've gone over to THAT side, you'll likely be in for a rough ride from this bunch!  Wink Smile

(Agrees that Trieste is a very pretty girl...but after being at an CKC German Shepherd fun match recently, has NO desire to get involved with those lines!)

To my eye, Playboy (or whoever he really is) is obviously a German showline. No AKC dog has colour that red, nor that masculine a head.

I've seen dogs that were crosses between American showlines and German. Heck, I OWN one. They don't look like that. And if you look back in the pedigree, you won't see ANY dogs he could have inherited those looks from.
