I know I am going to get bashed for this but oh well. I never feed puppy food. I feed Diamond Hi Energy to my puppies from 3 weeks on--also what I feed my grown dogs--everyone does super on it. I know someone who feeds sportmix and she has to add a lot of supplements to it.

If you would like to see how well my pups do on it, the topic is Just wanted to Share a couple of pics.and it is in this section--GSD..............

I feed Diamond Hi-Energy to my dogs from 6 months up. I keep them on the Diamond Puppy till 6 months, for ears to come up, tight feet, good tendons/ligaments and their teeth to come in.  All mine look great and do wonderful on it.

Before I gave to my young male Orijent but later I saw he had a dry skin than I bought MERA DOG and no problem now. So I think Mera dog one of the best for him.

We feed our girls Diamond Naturals Large Breed formula. When we rescued them they came with HiTek but their "business" was very loose, did some research and talked with our vet and went with Diamond and are very happy. We don't have any background info on our girls but think they are between 2-4 years old and are very very very active. Their coats are shiny, they are bright and alert...no change in their immediate future.

The Diamond Pet Foods recall that included most of their brands didn't bother you folks? The salmonella made people, as well as pets sick.

I feed Blue Buffalo but never puppy food. Casey James's breeder fed him orijin but it caused problems for him with some serious ramifications. It has a high calcium content.
