We need to find a rescue or foster for a BEAUTIFUL male GSD out of the Arlington, Texas shelter. He looks like a long haired GSD. He is gorgeous and very sweet. PLEASE HELP BLAINE!!!! I dont know anyone in Texas or anyone who can foster him, there :( :(
There is a GSD rescue organization out of north Texas (North Texas German Shepherd Rescue)that can tag him to rescue pull him, but that rescue requires a temporary foster, as they are all foster based. He will be KILLED tomorrow if a foster is not found! Please consider helping save this beautiful dog's life! It is truly an emergency situation!!!

Arlington Animal Services, 1000 SE Green Oaks, Arlington, Texas 76018 Shelter hours: Weekdays (10-6), Saturdays (10-4). Closed Sundays.

I am a bit too full to foster right now, but more than willing to donate some things to a foster family.

I'll give the shelter a call to see what I can do to buy the guy a few more days until a foster can be found. I'll also tag a few people.

Thanks- I cannot stand to see a good dog go down for nothing :( I have zero contacts in Texas and know no rescues, there...It just kills me, after the long battle Missie T and I fought against DM, with all the stops pulledout to see a dog be euthanized for no oter reason than a lack of space :(

OMG!!! One od my friends in Phily will take him if he can be pulled and held for transport!!! He has a place to go!!!!Please!!! Soimeone!! Dont let him die for nothing!!!!! He has a place to go!!! He has to get out today, and a texas rescue willlll pull him, so PLEASE- I am begging, please someone foster him!!!

If he has a forever home, I might be able to take him for a short while. How long till they can get him for transport? I will not be able to pick him up until Saturday though. I have a call into the shelter now.

Any idea what it takes to "foster" him until pick up?

Ugh, shelter is not the friendlist people. I tried to call and was told I had to go to the shelter to get any information and to set up foster (when I tried to explain I was not near there and I wanted to make a donation, they hung up on me). I can't get there until Saturday.

I do have a couple of calls to friends who are a bit closer.

OMG- you would think people would have some humanity and give a crap about a life that can be saved. Shelters need major attitude adjustments. I will see if I can contact the rescue that can pull to see if they can hold till Saturday. Please for transport have already gone out.... I would hope transport could be set up within a week but cant say for sure..

Hey All,
My guy in TX can pull him under MT GSD Rescue, his son is in Dallas right now and can pick him up today. I am heading out on a 5 hour trip and no cell service for most of it. We need more info.

I called the shelter and they are going to have someone call me, he is NOT on the EUTHANIZATION LIST YET!!!
