...ok, i am kidding about the name....i have NOT picked one yet....
Just adopted new intact male yesterday, no known history, approx. age 1-2...fur is silky soft but teeth are adult teeth, based on overall observation my guess is he is somewhere between 1-2...will see vet in next 2 weeks to confirm and to neuter....
pictures don't do him justice. The color is absolutely gorgeous...
he is very secure, calm in overall...but he does gets excited and when he does he jumps on you (which is easy to fix, we are alsmost there) no OB training except "sit"...so we got some way to go...will post more as I we get to know each other.

Darven, well he has not met him yet....the little bugger was sleeping on my daughters bed, he avoids any visitors, any excitement, so we didn’t bother to bring him out....in my house dogs are not allowed in bedrooms...so we will see...Oscar is not afraid of dogs so it should be interesting...
GSDguy...yeah....i tried "Cooper"..just didn’t seem like its him than we were thinking of 'Tank" like Tank and Dozer from matrix...(wasn't my idea) but still just not feeling it.....
Do you by any chance remember what was Mudwicks dogs name? To me they have some similarities so i was going to see if maybe his name would fit....

Your new addition is a beauty.

Hmmm....i may be joining you fawndallas....i was thinking naming him "Guinness" due to his color (amber on inside black outside) but i am afraid child protective services will show up if they hear my 10 year old asking for "Guinness"...LOL
and thank you...

I second Guinness. Also a good two syllable name for recall and training. Plus I think it suits him! ;)

no hurry on the name, one will come as soon as you get to know him a bit more.
