Why ?  I wouldn't bet a lot on the results, for either Work or Conformation.  'Course, if you just want a
litter so you can say their parents are a 'Lord' & 'Lady' ...

I'm interested in a puppy from them and am just curious what people with more experience looking at bloodlines had to say about this cross....I'm looking for a family companion first and possiby a dog to do tracking and obidience with.

Pedigree wise, there is not much to go on.

The dam's pedigree is very sparse on the bottom half and on the top half the dogs there have not done alot.

The male is just coming up on two years of age.

It looks like you're crossing working lines with American show lines so that's a bit of a mix and match.   Not much is said on the health of the dogs, at least not on paper.

Neither dog has any title (AKA, SV, Therapy, etc) on them.

So the question is, do you have hands on experience with either dog?  If so what are you seeing from these two dogs that you hope will pass on to the puppies?

Because on paper, there is nothing there.

The sire has a very nice pedigree, lots of proven
dogs behind him. The mother's pedigree is pretty
much an unknown. You would be rolling the dice
on this one, you might end up with decent health etc,
and a decent pet, or, you might end up with a hell of
a nightmare.

Personally, I'd keep looking just basing it on the dam's
side of the pedigree. The pups will only be as good as
the mother.

The male is not quite old enough to be OFA'd. And why oh why would you mix white lines into a line with a nice pedigree like he has? If you wonder where the white is, Regalwise is a very well known white kennel and of course there is white in those rin Tin Tin lines.
I say no.

wow, lol not the reaction I was expecting....thanks for the input everyone. I thought the dam was working line, too.  :(  oops. I'm a little disapointed.

I am not against crossing working lines with American show lines but on the female, they're not even that. No show lines, no nothing. Only thing I see is white dogs mixed in there. Also on the females side no hip ratings or anything. The female you have is a fairly nice looking dog but she has nothing behind her. If it were me I would spay her before you do have an oops litter.

I guess I should clarify these are NOT my dogs...I was just considering purchasing a puppy from this breeding.....sorry, I should have been more clear, lol. I am not the breeder!

I dont think it's the OP's litter?
I know part of the mother's father line. All hard solid wl. Looks like when you take the Forst dogs out they go back to German wls.
Wouldn't touch the mother's mother line with a 10 foot pole! Raebark is a terrible kennel of american and whites. Been brought up on many varied charges over the years and live in muck in huts with very little human contact. Pairs are kept together to breed at will.  Just look them up on the internet.
