OK you guys. I had showed a pic of a black girl who I said was my SAR prospect. I took her to meet the coordinator of the Chickasaw Nation SAR today. Yes they have accepted my girl and I am on C loud 9 about it. She really liked her attitude, calmness, temperament and drive. She said she would be going to all sorts of functions--meetings and all that stuff. I am very happy for Tri also as I had already decided she needed a job to do. Anyway next Friday we will have a todo with the media and all that when I offically present her to their department..........And she said I was a great puppy raiser!!!!! Those powwow songs do it every time.............

Congratulations, vonissk--both on your girl passing the SAR evaluation, and on the compliment from the director of the group regarding your skills in raising a pup to be suited for that work! It'll be a while before your feet hit the ground again, and you deserve to enjoy it!

Thanks you guys. And Hexe you are absolutely right about the puppy raising praise. That was the icing on the cake. I think that meant more than them accepting Tri--I felt like they would-no I don't know all the fancy anatomy words and how to critique a dog like some. But I know how to read dogs and I definately know how to read puppies. Well IMO I do and so far I've not been too off the mark. But as the gray matter thickens and all the puppies are black again...........LOL..........

Chaz what I meant by that comment was as I get older, I forget more and this and that--then to have a litter of black puppies where in the beginning you have to pick them up to see who is who and who did what. Maybe some of you guys know all your black pups apart from the beginning but honestly, I don't. First time for me to ever have all blacks. So it was basically a dig on myself about age and forgetfulness etc etc....................
Thanks everybody for the nice congrats. After I get some nicer pics of her I will be glad to post them. But as we all know, it's hard for one person to do nice puppy pics. I bet I have taken a jillion and only a few have turned out worthy of sharing.............
