KID`S PARENT`S ARE: CANYON V.D. LARS AUE AND ELLIS V.D.VILLA MUSICA (breeder - Norbert Schleuter, Germany). Kid now lives in Russia (Altay region)

I had a Cary x Nickie daughter. Great dog, did it all right. If I wanted to import another GSL, I would contact AltenbergerLand first.

handsome boy, I like his coat, color, head and front assembly.
But....I don't think I've ever seen such a long steep croup before

Love to see Kid! I have Kid's brother and sister here in the US. I also have a Cary and Nickie daugher who I love so much. She is almost 11. Both Cary and Nickie are in the pedigree of this litter on both sides, which is why I imported my puppies. These guys have such a wonderful personality and temperament. My dogs don't have such a steep croup. My male is short coupled but not nearly as steep. But both are nice movers and have beautiful outlines. Enjoy Kid!

Tedebear, I think you must have Funny v AltenbergerLand's litter sister (Cary x Nickie)? She was whelped 1/1/01. I gave her a retirement home. We lost her last year to breast cancer. It was one of the saddest days of my life. Funny was very special, she had many titles, did everyting ever asked of her. I'd give 5 years of my life to have her with me today.

Blitzen: I have a full repeat sister to Funny. She was born in November of the same year. She's an absolutely great dog! If Funny was anything like her, I understand your sadness fully. A little over a year ago, my dog had to have emergency surgery for GDV, but otherwise, she is a happy girl that's always smiling. : )

I wasn't aware that breeding was repeated. Yes, she was an absolutely wonderful dog and happy and active til the end. She was gone in only 3 weeks. Here's the link to her picture if you'd like to see what she looked like.
