Sorry I haven't been able to post in awhile (not that anyone even noticed..hahaha).

So, we are back training again to get our last leg for her BN and her RA legs. We just started doing agility again and I hope to title her by the end of the year!

I moved to a new house and built a huge outside fenced in area for her and put a dog door in so she can go in and out of garage to get to her yard. We moved right near a lake with a 6-7 mile trail and we walk the loop at least 3 times a week. She loves swimming in the lake!!!!!

Here are some pics of her from her herding test (she passed both days to get her HIC) and a couple others thrown in:

Hey Sara, I'm glad you're back and was wondering where in the heck you were. Gee she looks good. You must have read my mind cause I was hoping you would post some pics.

I noticed, too! Welcome back, Smiley, of course you were missed. We've all been following your progress! I agree with vonissk, were you reading minds,  because I was wondering about you, just yesterday... Congrats on the new home, looks like it is a happy place for all!

Lovely girl!

How did you get her started in herding? How oftern do you practice?

I'd love to do that with my pup, but I have no idea how you even get started, I have nothing to herd, other than horses, which wouldn't be a great idea. LOL

Conspicuous- I just brought her to a Course C Herding Instinct Test and that was her first exposure to course C herding! She had about 3 lessons in course A herding. But, she had such a strong prey drive that we couldn't tell if she had herding instinct or if she just had prey drive! But, the course C work showed her strong instinct and her prey drive was kept in check (probably due to the number of sheep)!!

Swingfield- It is beginner Novice; a relatively new class that is meant to prepare a dog for the CD test. No group sit or downs but an off leash sit stay among other work!

Here is her new area...she has a dog door going from garage into her own large play/poop area. Then, we let her out in yard for intense play sessions! Of course, she is a housedog the rest of teh time!!
