Very distressing. She looks so like a bitch I used to look after. One thing nobody asked in the Comments
with the video, either for or against, was: how come she was suddenly so injured she could not walk back
down the mountain ? Paws don't just erupt in blisters in an instant. Did the owner not see she was
starting to limp, earlier, he doesn't mention having to start to turn back ?

Agreed Hundmutter. The owner neglected this dog even before he abandoned her. Also, why didn't he go back for her himself with some friends?

All true what you say ggturner! Eight days? And it took two groups of strangers to come up with the obvious
to go get the dog? It was his dog! He must be the world's weiniest hiker on the planet Earth. I bet Missy is glad to see him, despite his lack of brawn and care, and I don't think he deserves that devotion.

Agree; I reckon the stuff about him having "got to the point of accepting (Missy was dead)" is a bit of a cop out - something like those people in Japan whose religion used to tell them it was 'better' to turn their old
sick dogs out to fend for themselves 'cos they'd have a 'natural' death - rather than actually take responsibilty
for euthanising them ...
