I have been asked by a lady at my Schutzhund Club which male I would pair with this pedigree. As I have not bred dogs, I thought I would pass this onto the ones who do.The Pedigree is of Baghira and it is his sister ,Buffy who is in the States. She is IPO 1, and is working as a security dog at this time. Her hips/elbows are A normal. This will be a working litter. She is all black and is smaller than her brother but within standard. Good on off switch, in bitework she hits like a freight train, very good tracker.

do you have potential buyers for all of the puppies?
have you done a DM test?
does she have a breed survey?

sitasmom, how hypocritical of you to even make
a comment like that! are you for real??
You bred untitled dogs! You still DO!
You flog your/Eurosport dogs/pups on this
board and others all the time.
Do you have buyers for all your pups?
I'd guess not since you peddle them here
every chance you get.
To the OP, nice pedigree on the bitch, she has a
pretty decent 'open' pedigree compared to most
these days. Sky is the limit for you, see what she
needs improved, what she has too much of or not
enough of. I'd make sure the male you choose is
known for good hip production for sure.
A lot will depend on what you want to produce.

first 2 were fair questions, third was snarky....
ask her breeder what bloodlines he/she would suggest.....
i don't flog dogs
i have a waiting list - vast majority from referrals, all my puppies are sold with limited registration and guaratees...
only 1 of my dogs used for breeding isn't titled......but is well on her way, she was injured and it set her back http://www.rallhaus.com/Pages/OurDogs.aspx .
i don't have any advertisements on this board, haven't actually advertised one of my own since honey x zambo litter......i have advertised for others.
extra high drive puppies are harder to place correctly. much care must be taken to find the right homes for them..... having potential clients prior to breeding is always good to have..... developing a good relationship and keeping in contact is also important. understanding that if the proper homes are not found in your timeframe means you might have one or two of the puppies past 8 weeks is also a consideration.

Buffy has a nice, very interesting pedigree, so many options about what she could do in breeding. Buffy's brother has very nice structure, hopefully Buffy does also.
Assuming that choosing a stud who comes from a quality pedigree, is titled and has good health tests is a given, Buffy's owner should also consider the following when picking out a stud.
What qualities does she like the most about Buffy and wants to continue? What aspects does she dislike the most about Buffy? What characteristics are most important to Buffy's owner?
Buffy's owner should choose a male who will compliment Buffy's best aspects, improve Buffy's worst aspects (as in, he does not have the same faults that Buffy does, and preferrably he is superior in the areas where Buffy may be weak in) and perhaps also possesses qualities that Buffy's owner is particularly fond of in the GSD breed.
Since we don't know exactly what Buffy's best/worst aspects are and what particular traits Buffy's owner wants the most, it's difficult to recommend a specific stud.

You have bred more than just one untitled
bitch, what about the dogs you no longer have?
You've gone through so many it's hard to keep
track. But there was an untitled male & female,
not even sure if you xrayed them. Do I need to
jog your memory? You were going to do a 'test
breeding before deciding whether to spend
the money to title them or not'.
Please be honest.
And yes, you certainly do pimp your own and
Eurosport dogs/puppies here every chance you
get.
Now, back to the OP's post, you will need to find
out what the females stengths and weaknesses are,
then seek out a stud that compliments and compensates
her the best.

workingdogz - go back to sleep and maybe you'll wake up in a better mood.......lol

Just don't like to see hypocritical crap.
Sucks when people remember details huh?
by SitasMom on 07 August 2012 - 18:08
dont give a dang about details form years past.
if you look at my lineup......its perfectly fine for the work i'm doing to improve my lines.....
as far as getting rid of dogs, is it better for a retired female to live with the competition of many dogs or to have a home as a single pet and have the utmost of attention?
you are deviating from the topic if you want to continue this further, pm me.
