WDA Elections - Page 1

Once again it is election time for the WDA. Know how I can tell? Mary Gattone has filed charges against Gene Kalvaitis. This stems from a mistake made at NASS 2011 that had absolutely no impact on anyone, while Gene was a volunteer at the protection practice field. Ms. Gattone waited 8 months to file these charges. Hmmmm, filing the charges in July, an investigative committee formed, the investigative committee will report their findings sometime in August or Sept.? If they determine there is a need for a hearing, Mr. Kalvaitis will be suspended pending the hearing. Now we all know once you are suspended, you cannot run for office or participate in any WDA activities. Gee, the timing of these bogus charges would prevent Mr. Kalvaitis from running for office in the election and participating in NASS 2012. Do any of you see a pattern here? allowed to run in the election, but the damage was done. For those of you in attendence at NASS last year, did any of you see Ms. Gattone at the event? She was not there. So who is she getting her information from? Who is so petty they would whine about a mistake that did not, as I said earlier, impact anything, anyone or any placings at NASS 2011? As the Chair of NASS 2011, I know who was involved in this mistake, and I know who pitched a fit about it. Did that person file the charges? No, he likes to give the appearance of having "clean hands". So I guess the bottom line here is do you ever volunteer at NASS or any of the other WDA National events and take the chance of having someone press charges against you? Or, does it only affect you if you have a position on the WDA Board and may or may not be considering running for a seat in the next election? This issue has nothing to do with NASS 2011, it only has to do with keeping those that are not wanted on the WDA Board from running for a position. Before you start accusing others Ms. Gattone, you should take a good hard look into your own backyard!

Your post is really so very funny.   I told you back in Feb, someone tried to renew after having been a member for say 11 years. Perfectly good credit card would not go through. Copy of processing company's report is still on file. Paper check was sent and cashed.   One magazine and a Membership card with an exp date of 2013, yes, 2013, was sent and received. [So no need for dues for next year] BUT no ballot. Person hollered and hollered in every place possible. Later person was told that not the "right" person was told. Well, with all the complaining why wasn't the "right" name given???? No ballot was ever received!!   Then no club emails were received. Complaints given and all kinds of stupid answers were received. As member had to ask. How can it be that a member asks??? When member tried to contact the email sender, the company would not respond and there is no phone number to contact them. Soooo no emails.   No magazines were ever sent after the first one.   Conference calls both Regional and or National. Could not get through. Evidently one has to have a phone number that is recognized by the powers that be. Oh, the date on the web site is not correct or updated, so could not even attempt a call, so that the powers that be do not have to check out "good" phone numbers.   So, that is how they get rid of members they do not like. Let them pay, but do not allow them to have the mag or any contact via Regional calls or National calls.   When the Regional officer was contacted in addition to the top powers was told that they could do nothing, had to talk to the Office Mgr which had already been done. Big circle of no one wanting the member.   See, they do not have to bring up charges which bothers them and costs them money -- just cut the "member" out of anything and there is no recourse. Silent treatment.   All you folks did was to say I was so wrong some months ago. Now that your animal is being gored, as the old saying says, you are screaming bloody murder!!!   This is oh sooo funny. You did not listen to the fact that all kinds of things were going to happen to you. You were so smart and now you have not listened or prepared yourselves.   It is set up to lock you out. Maybe you better leave and return to the other National where maybe there are not so many evil things being done to members. Say maybe that JA knew something that we did not. I without being a member thought it was evil, but maybe not.   And you just might research the background of a high member's husband's background as that may be where all these interesting ideas of removing members comes from.   Come on now and give me more things to laugh about.  But you are getting look-sees, but no comments.  Again funny.

AND where are all those minutes and updates that the leader promised to the members.  Went to National website and do not see any minutes since January, 2012.  No list of National meetings after the end of July.  Could not find when the next National Conference Call is to be.  Was going to have them open to the general public.

The Great Communicator is not communicating as was promised.  Was the early promise just a lie, or has he forgotten, or early Alzheimer's?

This is getting to be more and more fun as I keep thinking of new ideas to add to my original post.  Hope you are having fun with your wonderful Club.

The 1 to 1???  Not when behind the scenes members are deleted and given no chance to go before zee board to prove their innocence especially when they have not been charged with anything, just silenced!!!!

Forgot to say in the early post that the person was also threathened and to back up the threath was told that the leader was a Superior Court Judge in Los Angeles County in the Criminal Courts Building on Temple St, Los Angeles, CA.

What am I missing? I read the article about the University of Arizona. Is Munsinger the connection? If so, I don't get it. JA and "one member, one vote." What a kettle!

Yup, fine kettle of fish and so laughable.  Take a look at ALL the surnames of the high officers and then maybe you will understand.

Lots of people are "joining."  Are they real people with an address or names on a grave marker?  Are they really supporters of schutzhund or are they just "names"?  Any way to know what is what with these "names'?  Have you ever heard of packing the ballot box???.

They are fresh on the scene and will go along with the charmer and vote you down like swatting a fly after all your efforts and money.  Have seen that happen in so many different organizations!!!

And in addition, you'al have run off your best supporters who do not support the charmer as you said they did.  More laughter.

UScA better watch for the stampede back to UScA dispite the JA.  Because despite the 1 to 1 vote, you have lost to the charmer and the setup that has been put in place to totally prevent you from winning.  All those envelopes have to have your names on them and all they have to do is to staple them to the once enclosed ballot.  Remember how many times the last election had the votes to be opened here and there and who was going to open them.  If there is only an id number, makes no difference.  Even if an "outside" group reviews them, whose to say who owns them and who is sitting next to the special group!!!!!!!!!

Oh what it is to say!!!!  And they think they are going to win over the charmer!!!  Everything now all set up!!!

And that person and I do not do schutzhund now and all vehicles, houses, property, self. food, animals are kept safe and under a watchful eye.  Remember there was that threat by that LA Co Superior Court Judge and person and I have taken it very seriously.  This is especially being watched out for as there have been many more threaths that most people never ever hear about as they have need to watch out.  If the person or I were out at an event, would keep vehicle and dogs and food, both dog and human, and property safe or as safe as possible.

Word to the wise.  Have fun and laugh more.

Welk, frankly, I hope some of those who left USCA because of the JA stay gone. They deserve what they have found at the "perfect"WDA with its oh so perfect " one member, one vote." I notice that a few who left with all kinds of noise, storm and fury came, quietly, slithering back to CA.

Wow, I'm impressed.  I hope Jim makes it to the top.

As impressive is the fact that they have a July/August magazine published.  I just got my copy of the May/June WDA magazine a few days ago.
