How is your pup coming along?

He's great...Intelligent...Stubborn as all heck..so far so good in the health dept..growing like a weed..he's a little over 5 months now. Havoc is no longer available my co-worker now has her as of Thursday on a Co-own atleast until she has one litter. Very friendly with people and other dogs.
There are other von Hayden pups available for $850. the breeder had the misfortune of a tornado hitting their home. Everyone including dogs are ok but now they are attempting to re-home the pups.

I'm considering one of those pups. Twila. She's one of 4 I'm looking at. Havoc while a nice girl, just wasn't for me.

Just be forewarned that it's more likely than not that if you purchase one of the pups, you will have to wait for the dog's registration papers. This is nothing against the dogs they breed, but if you do a search on the kennel in the forums here, you'll find several posts of complaints that registrations are taking too long to arrive after the pup has been paid for and taken home. There always seems to be a fresh disaster there that interferes with getting the litter registered...

Keep in mind the Health Guarantee, if there is an issue with the dog they will replace the dog however you have to return the original dog to them. You can try getting that changed in the contract. Poor Klaus von Hayden was diagnosed with hip dysplasia at 6 months old (Valla von Hayden / Grand vom Haus Kaiser) He is a stunning dog the entire situation is heartbreaking.
I'm still waiting for paperwork we brought our pup home the beginning of June (they did have their house destroyed by a tornado on June 29th) You will not get full registration until you title the dog or certify it in Police. I don't think the Dam or the Sire of my pup have any Schutzhund titles, they are trained in Police.

Whoa, she reserves full registration on the dogs until titled?! That would be a no go for me. When I buy something I get the full papers upfront. I don't need any monkey business to mess around with in the future. I'll have to confirm this issue as I haven't seen any contracts yet. Haven't even decided if I'm taking the puppy.

Uh..... why would anyone buy a dog from a breeder who requires the dog is returned in the event a replacement is necessary? That's to the breeder's advantage, not the buyer's.
