Importing GSD to Pakistan - Page 1

Hi all, Newbie here, but would like to say what a great forum you guys have here. I am looking to import a GSD bitch to Pakistan. I have other breeds of dogs but this will be my first GSD. I am looking for a healthy dog with a great temperament and good pedegree/ bloodline. I have been in touch with a few breeders in siberia but unfortunately they were unable to satisfy my queeries although the pictures of the dogs they sent were fantastic. I am looking for more of a pet and working line dog as I dont know enough about the breed or have the time to show. Also, as most of you can imagine the shows here in Pakistan are nothing to shout about. Can you please help and guide me to which breeders I should contact who have a well balanced GSD at reasonable price. Thanks and regards to all. PS how do I attach pictures here

Here is a picture of the young bitch which I am being offered from Serbia. I absolutely love her but am not too sure about how serious the breeder is and I am quite wary as I know of quite  a few people who have been conned by breeders from serbia and hungary. But I may be wrong. Anyway, can you experienced guys please comment on your thoughts advice regarding her pedegree and look. What are the blue things in her ears. All advice and comments much appreciated. Thanks and regards.

She's a cute girl, the blue things in her ears are there to help her ears to stand.  It seems that she has a problem with weak ears.  Also, in the second photo her ears appear to be glued together, another common technique to encourage the ears to stand.
Perhaps you should stick with kennels that have a good reputation for exporting their dogs/puppies.  Kennels like Margman, Kirschental, Quartier Latin, haus Dexel, team Fiemerick, plenty of others too. 

EuroShepard, thanks for the reply. I thought as much regarding her ears. Another question about her, is she a long coat? Does anyone have any idea where/ which kennel breeds dogs that are similar looking as here. I am smitten with her look. I am not an expert on GSD's but do believe that if a dog takes your heart then its right for you. She is not a longcoat, she just has a good plush coat which is desirable in the show ring.

GSDRULE, You would be surprised, as i was, when i moved here from the UK at the number of dogs which are kept by people here. The only difference is that they are kept outdoors and nost people employ servants to look after them. I have a lab and a staffordshire terrier and they receive a lot of attention on their daily walks. However, i would say people here are more afraid of dogs then actually hate them. Many times they will cross over to the otherside of the road. Also, their are litterally thousands of stray dogs everywhere, I have never ever heard of anyone toruring or killing a dog, a cat yes! but never a dog. There are quite a few kennel clubs here but the quality is average if that, most who like pedegrees have to import as i have done. 

So how do you get around that whole muslim hate/torture/kill dog BS? 

 The best way around it is to get your information on other nations and cultures from sources other than the American propaganda machine. You wouldn't want to come across like a stereotypical Yank would you?
