Did they really take a picture of this dog taking a crap as their advertisement picture?

I don't have anything bad to say about the people or the dogs, I just that was kind of.....odd lol.

Hah I saw this ad this morning too! I think it may just be sitting on a little snow bank. Who knows.

by hexe on 12 July 2012 - 20:07

No, they did not.  The dog IS sitting on an uneven snow mound. I agree, it's probably not the best choice of pictures, though I do prefer it to the pictures of the dogs in the tie that show up in litter ads. I mean, really--obviously some bitch was bred by some male, else you wouldn't have puppies for sale, would you?  Do they really think that seeing a photo of two dogs the buyer has probably never seen, and therefore won't even recognize, in the act of breeding is going to be the touch that makes the sale?

by joanro on 12 July 2012 - 20:07

If a person is concerned with the ability of both dogs being capable of breeding naturally, the pics of the tie can be meaningful. Too many litters are the result of AI or worse, surgical implant. It could be either the male is incapable of breeding naturally or the female cannot conceive naturally for what ever reason. I would not want the offspring of either parents that can't be bred naturally.

The pup in the ad looks nice, but is unfortunate caught sitting on pile of snow.
