Hi!
I just want to know if somebody on this blog as already did buisness with this breeder : www.dejuco.com ?
I'm interressed by their dogs. I know someone in Massachusetts who bought 3dogs from there and are very happy with them.

They are young and look like really serious people. Can you give me some other feed back please?

Thanks!

I don't personally know anything about the kennel, but I see a couple red flags. It appears that out of all their dogs only one male (Jupp) is titled and hip scored. It appears that they don't do anything with their dogs but breed them- no Schutzhund, herding, obedience competitions or anything of that sort.  I also see nothing about hip, elbow or any other health screenings, except that under the puppy warranty it states the parents all have been x-rayed. Where is the proof?  At the very least you want to be sure the parents of the puppies have had their hips and elbows scored. Typically the hip and elbow scores are listed if they have been done. Based on the info on the website, I'd be reluctant to get a puppy or dog from this kennel.

I  PERSONNALY  bought a dog from this kennel 2 years ago(Jukon Von Der Staatsmacht/Leska Von der Jubricht Litter).

We are extremely satisfied about our dog (Strong Prey, Nerves of Steel, Social Dog,Compact build, etc.).

We have been in contact with all the dogs in the kennel ... without any problem.

The owners are young but VERY PROFESSIONNAL and DYNAMIC.

The  main house and the buildings are completely new and spotless.

We have seen all the results on hips and elbows of their dogs(SV,OFA,OVC).

With them, there is no hiding and 7 pages sale agreement which protects  only the  breeder ....

PS:Before putting Red Flags, begin to read each paragraph on their website ...

I'm glad you got nice pups from this breeder, but all I have to base an opinion on is what is available on the website. I did read the website and could find no hip & elbow scores on their dogs, except Jupp. I also could find no dogs with titles except Jupp. There were some very nice dogs in the pedigrees, but the parents and some of the grandparents of the pups had no titles that I could find (except Jupp). If II missed something, then I apologize, but I read through each section of the site. Actually they even claim that due to putting time into raising a family they are presently not working their dogs. When I have time I will check the OFA website.

Star you are correct about the titles only jupp. they do have a litter in their available puppies section that both the parents are titled......... Just because they are not titled doesnt mean they cant do the work or produce great puppies. I would like to see hip and elbow scores. They do have lower prices on the puppies from the non tiltled parents. You can never judge unless you have seen the dogs in person.

I am not judging the dogs at all. The OP asked for feedback and I gave him/her my observation, based soley on the website. The first thing I look for is health screenings and the second thing I look for is titles or to see what the dogs have accomplished. Usually if the dogs have had any kind of health screenings it is noted on the website. The same goes with titles or any other significant accomplishments. They have 9 dogs and the website shows that only one is titled and has had his hips scored. I did go on the OFA website and checked for any info on their dogs and I found one dog listed (Vyker). I didn't check the SV or OVC, so the OP needs to do his/her own investigating.  If you look at the pedigrees of the dogs on the PDB there is nothing regarding hip or elbow scores (except Jupp), even on some of the grandparents.  From my perspective this raises reason for concern. I do see one litter available from titled parents and that breeding took place in the Czech Republic.

My rule of thumb on internet advise. NEVER trust someone who's first post is either to overly praise or overly criticise a kennel or trainer. They have an agenda

Amaro, According to the PDB the sire of your pup has his AD & BH and a SV hip score of a1.   THe dam, according to the info on the PDB, has no hip score or titles. All other dogs on your pup's pedigree are titled and hip scored. As for the sire and dam, it is very possible that info was not entered, but if one is a breeder it is wise to enter that info for on there for all to see. Of course, it is up to the potential buyer to verify that information. That means checking the SV, OVC or OFA records and not relying on what the breeder says.

Starrchar,
You gave a opinion and you are entitled to it even if nobody else agrees. I agree, the web site is not something I would consider as a deal maker for myself. And I don;t care the puppies are cheaper from the untitled dogs. I would want them to SHOW me what the dogs have to offer. Just because you are not thrilled does not mean you cant express it. Other people love their dogs, great, go and buy the puppies.

Everybody can find and hour to pull few dogs out and do some training with them. My friends in Europe make it an outing. Dog training in the morning and BBQ and hanging out in the afternoon, this is when the kids come and have some fun too unless they are already participating in the "dog training" activities. IF I want to I make it work, if not than I will find a lot of excuses. Everybody has different priorities and we are not to judge. But a breeder whose priority is not the dogs and training and developing the dogs, betting hands on and truly know their good and bad attributes.... not my type of a breeder. But it will work for someone else just fine.

Nice day

Pakonque,   I wish you the best in your puppy search. For your sake , I do hope you verify some things before buying a pup from this breeder or any breeder for that matter. There are a number of threads on this forum to help educate a puppy buyer.  THere are breeders out there who test for nothing and there are some breeders that test for hips, elbows, DM, thyroid, EPI, AF, CERF and cardiac. I think most agree that hip and elbow screenings are a must. I personally like breeders who do a number of screenings, but it's not important to everyone. Best of luck.
Char
