Here's a picture of Astro.....  !

Then his screams just turned to NO! NO!

Ha, wow, yea that reminds me of the eye commercial when the woman calls her cat and a racoon comes in. Gotta have those glasses :)

Did they invite the bear in for breakfast?

No, but by what my daughter says, the bear probably would have come in. My son-in-law & my grandson were setting up his tent in the back yard in preparation for his Scout summer camp, to check for tears, etc., when Ed, my son-in-law thought he saw Astro coming around the corner of the house. Astro had been inside, but he's pretty smart & knows how to open his crate, so Ed figured he had gotten out. Ed went back to checking the tent when he FELT something behind him, & turned to be face to face with this adolescent 200+ pounds black bear. This young bear had no fear what-so-ever, maybe has been fed by someone(?), because Ed & Gabe (my 13 year old grandson) started throwing rocks & yelling at him, & he just kept following them around the yard, not aggressively, thank goodness. My daughter took a couple of pictures... here's the other photo, & then my grandson, remembering what he learned in boy Scouts about bears, decided to use his French horn to scare the bear away...(there's Gabe blowing his horn) And it worked! Sure wish I could have seen that, LOL!
And I also wish people would not feed wildlife!! This bear will come to a bad end, I only hope it's not MY grandkids he hurts when his time comes!! jackie harris

And isn't it funny that my daughter's priority wasn't saving her son & husband from the wild animal following them around the yard, but to takes pictures of it???? Just sayin'! LOL!
